THE PULSE FINAL NIGHT GALA Sunday, July 15th
The PULSE Final Night Gala is the finale to not only our PULSE Summer NYC, but our entire PULSE Season! Filled with surprises and special guests, the show will also showcase dancers from our private faculty intensives, our PULSE Protégé Program, and top Choreographer’s Picks from Saturday’s Performance Showcase. We will also be announcing our Elite PULSE Protégés for the 2012-2013 Season. The performance will be held in the main ballroom on Sunday July 15th at 8:00pm. Tickets to this event are $30 each. NOTE: Not all dancers who attend the PULSE are featured in the GALA. This special performance is an opportunity for our participants to get dressed up, sit back and relax, and enjoy an incredible night of dance!
SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
All registered participants are eligible for scholarships! Dancers may pick up a number during check-in. We do not have a traditional closed audition. Instead, PULSE Faculty choose to reward dancers who catch their eye in classes- whether it’s recognizing technique, drive, style or enthusiasm. This process not only permits more class time, but also allows for a controlled, creative, casual atmosphere. We ask that you wear your scholarship number throughout the entire weekend so each faculty can get the chance to see you during your class performance! The PULSE gives away over $30,000 in scholarships at EACH event including PULSE Convention Scholarships, PULSE Summer Scholarships, Training Scholarships to studios and more!
PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT OPPORTUNITIES
Every great dancer needs a great headshot! Headshots are now color in the dance industry. Use this headshot for your next audition, school event, or local newspaper. A professional resident photographer will take your picture right at The PULSE for an exclusive discounted rate! Sign up for your desired time slot on-site (keep in mind it may be before, between, or after classes) and receive your professional digital negatives and contact sheet before you leave! TEACHERS AND STUDIO OWNERS
Education is our number one goal at The PULSE and we know it’s your number one goal at your studios too! One of our favorite parts of being on tour is meeting and hosting dance educators, teachers, and instructors from across the country. We value and appreciate every one of you and the work you do; we want to make sure you get the most out of your weekend as a teacher at our event.
Our 12th Annual Teacher Workshop is running alongside our PULSE Summer NYC. Get the most out of this incredible weekend of dance and take any class offered in either PULSE Summer NYC or Teacher Workshop! We offer a special discount for those teachers interested in taking both workshops. As a PULSE Teacher you can purchase our Teacher Workshop Upgrade for an additional $110. PULSE Teacher Class: Don’t miss this private class with one of the most respected and sought-after choreographers in the business today! This is a closed class- you must have an All Access band to enter. This class is one of the most talked about experiences at The PULSE!

Join us for our Parent Chat- a chance to sit down casually with our director, Pam Chancey! You will learn about options for your dancer’s future including college, internships, training choices, and what the industry is looking for today. Feel free to ask any questions and give any feedback. We always want to hear what our parents have to say and appreciate your comments. Coffee and snacks will be served.
